Today we talked about KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) for IT Infrastructure and Operations. Obviously the low hanging fruit is the traditional administrator:server, administrator:device, and other similar ratios. We discussed how we could utilize indicators to measure our success in the areas of virtualization, network connectivity, and patch management – coming up with some good starting points. Looking forward to seeing some of these play out on paper – or at least in Excel.
